Private Students

Kuwaiti students (other sponsors – private) who wish to pursue their studies abroad should seek approval of MOHE on the academic programme they wish to study prior to their enrolment at the concerned Institute / University.

Failure to obtain such approval will result in the non-equivalence of the degree by MOHE. Students are required to print and fill out the following form.

The form to be sent by postal delivery or emailed to the following address along with a:

  • Copy of the student passport.
  • Copy of the offer letter from the University.
  • Copy of the Entry Criteria Documents.

According to MOHE’s guidelines, please note that the office would strongly advice all applicants to adhere to the following:

  • The study must be in the main campus and not at any affiliated institutions.
  • The study must be conducted at the same institution that awards the degree studied for.
  • The study must follow a full-time mode.
  • The Office would not recommend any form of distance learning study.


بُناءاً على لوائح وزارة التعليم العالي، يُنبِّه المكتب إلى ضرورة مراعاة أنه :

  • يجب أن تكون الدراسة بالمقر الرئيسي للجامعة.
  • يجب أن تكون الدراسة بنفس الجامعة التي تمنح الشهادة.
  • يجب أن تكون الدراسة بنظام الدوام الكامل (Full-Time).
  • لا يعتمد المكتب أي قبول لدراسة بالانتساب، أو عن بُعْد.
